Since 1862 Ets Philippe Rives treat and trade sheep, lamb, goat and other skins.

In 1862 the second phase, spinning and fellmongering takes place with the importation of the first raw sheepskins.

In 1956 Rives Pty, ltd is established in Australia by Roger Cazenave, followed by several other purchasing centers.

In 1980 Ets Rives creates a branch specialized in the purchase of raw woolen skins within the French territory.

In 1985 death of Mr Andre Rives. The company passes to Mr. Roger Cazenave.

In 2009 Ets Rives becomes the service operator for Bigard nveau_logo_BIGARD.jpg largest meat operator in France.

Today Ets Rives France and Rives Pty Australia produce annually 5 700 000 Ovine skins, Goat skins,Rabbits Skins and 95% of the production is exported.

With the backing of this International presence a new section of finished Woolen skins and bovines hides is created for the European market.
